Giorgio began his professional career in 1983, as a hardware and firmware designer in the field of industrial automation and in a few years he became responsible and coordinator of innovative projects with high technological content.

Giorgio’s great passion for new technologies since he was a boy, combined with his seriousness, professionalism and determination, facilitate the continuous creation of new projects that have as their core technology at the service of customers to achieve their goals.

In 1987, driven by a strong entrepreneurial spirit, he took part in the foundation of AUTOMA, a company specialising in the development of electronic and software technologies for local and remote measurement and control, with the position of director of hardware and firmware development. His focus is on research and development of hardware technologies and product engineering.

In 2004 he takes the role of technical director, with the task of coordinating all the activities of hardware, firmware and software development for all product lines of AUTOMA: cathodic protection monitoring, remote control of gas, oil and water distribution networks, and Smart Building.

In 2007, thanks to the experience gained over the years, he assumed the role of CEO of AUTOMA and since then coordinates and directs the activities of the company as general manager, assisted by the staff of division directors. As the company’s strategic guide, he explores and defines new markets for expansion, as well as defining and directing the operating methods.
